The Good, the Bad, and the Founder(2) - The Good
Continuing from the previous article, this time I will tell you about the people who help founders.
They have been of great help to my survival thus far.
- Someone thinking of ideas to help you
Bad people will tell you, "That does not make sense."
But good people will tell you, "How can I help you?"
And there are people who hear about your business and then ponder ideas for making it work. Very few people have this kind of attitude, and we should be grateful for their help, even if their idea does not work. - A person who gives a little help to others for free
You might think that it's not difficult to introduce you to someone else, or share your LinkedIn posts, etc. Of course, it doesn't take a lot of effort to do it.
However, we should know that they spend their precious time helping you. A little help is a HELP, and we should be grateful for it. You should know that even a little help can help your networking, marketing or hiring. - Good customer
A good customer will sometimes pay you more and use more of your service or product. And, they are sometimes helpful. If you do your best for your customers first, maybe they will give you a better chance or opportunity. - Precision
People who do things precisely reduce your work. If people don't handle things precisely, your work will increase because you have to check and correct the error. People who do their work accurately save you the trouble of reviewing your work.
This is not just a case of your service provider. If your employees or you do not do things correctly, it becomes your burden. If you work with people who do the job precisely, you don't need to work twice, and you can use your time efficiently. - Good friends
Regardless of whether your friend helps your business or not, it is a great boost to an entrepreneur if a friend is there to cheer you up when you are having a hard time.
I am always grateful to my good friends.
They worried about me when I looked depressed and make an effort to help me. And I will do my best to help them too. - A person who makes a fair contract
When signing contracts, beware of companies that try to insert unfair or toxic clauses into contracts. Working with companies with that attitude could put your company at risk.
Last year, I discussed a contract with a company listed on the Korean stock exchange, and even though their company is a large company, they did not stop putting bad clauses in the contract.
And I'm glad I didn't sign a contract with them. - Someone who makes the details clear
All contracts must be clear. A person who proceeds with a contract with precise details without ambiguity or who has such an attitude reduces your risk and reduces the cost and effort of communication.
It is always important to clarify terms and define areas of responsibility to reduce the potential for disputes.
If you want to be a good person to other entrepreneurs, you will have to try to be the person with these personalities. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to meet these people, and my journey would have been more difficult without them.
Of course I'm still having a hard time.
However, because of them, I can continue my journey with a little more strength.
Be Good to Good people, and appreciate their help. We only live once. Don't waste your life on greed and selfishness. If you treat others well, sometimes others will give you a good chance in return.
May luck be with you today.
Good people bring good networks.
